The Drawing club met for a 1950’s themed drawing session. A wonderful way to spend two and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon, away from the noise and crowds. With fabulous 1950’s tracks in the background to keep us all inspired, the afternoon was a success with some very good pieces of work.
Rowena, our model for the afternoon wore her grandmother’s original 1950’s dress and we had the use of St Stephen’s Church’s grand piano to add to our props. And the 1950’s music kept us going.
With a good mix of shorter 1-3 minute poses, several 10-15 minute poses and a couple of longer poses we created some lovely drawings.
